TerraBB is a high-quality 3rd generation airsoft bullet, which means it decomposes naturally. Unlike PLA-based bioBBs (2nd generation), which require industrial composting to decompose, TerraBB can be safely fired into nature. It is made of non-toxic material that leaves no microplastics behind.
Instructions
The naturally degradable material is sensitive to moisture. We recommend using the balls within three months of opening the package, although they will likely remain usable for much longer if stored in a dry place. The package includes a desiccant pad to absorb moisture.
Certified and safe materials
TerraBB represents the 3rd generation of airsoft bullets, also called TRUE BIO BBs. The polymers used are OK Home Compost certified, which is an internationally recognized environmental label.
From an airsoft bullet perspective, OK Home Compost is currently the most environmentally friendly certification available. However, we demand even more from our bullets, as they are fired directly into nature. That is why the biodegradability of TerraBB has been tested in Nordic laboratories, where its environmental impact has been confirmed. The laboratory conditions have simulated a number of different soil and climate conditions that occur around the world - including the soil and climate of Norway. We hope that even better certificates will be developed in the future, which take into account real natural conditions and allow for more precise standardization for products like TerraBB.
