Specna Arms EDGE model series
Specna Arms EDGE series combines innovative solutions and features that most airsoft manufacturers do not offer in the same gun. The EDGE model series emphasizes the fine finishing of the gun's exterior parts and advanced electrical components. The EDGE model series could be characterized as a pre-tuned airsoft gun that can be taken straight from the box to the playing field without the need for modifications to achieve the best performance.
The frames of the Specna Arms J-Series™ AK airsoft guns are made mainly of steel. In addition to the frame, the receiver cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine release, fire selector, gas tube guard, flame arrester, stock strap mounts, rear sight, cleaning stick, stock mounts and other small parts are also made of steel. The remaining metal parts are cast from zinc-reinforced aluminum, which is coated with a fine coating that gives a realistic appearance. The pistol grip, grips and supports use various polymers, similar to the prototype firearms.

E&C quick spring change
Specna Arms J-Series airsoft guns are equipped with Enter & Convert™ quick spring change, which allows for easy and fast increase or decrease of the weapon's power by changing the spring. This feature is especially necessary if the gun is used, for example, in forest and indoor game areas, where there are different muzzle velocity restrictions. Quick spring change requires removing the pistol grip bottom screw, charging handle and fire selector in the J-Series, after which the gear box can be lifted out of the frame. After this, the spring can be changed in seconds through the opening behind the gear box and the gear box does not need to be disassembled.
J-series replicas are basically compatible with most AK-style AEG magazines, but some magazine models may require minor modifications to the magazines before they can be used. We recommend using Specna Arms original S-mag magazines to ensure the best compatibility. The package comes with two polymer Specna Arms 130-round S-MAG mid-cap magazines.
The J-series airsoft replicas are equipped with the Specna Arms ORION V3 gearbox, known for its tough performance straight out of the box. The gearbox subassembly has been selected so that the mechanism works with even M140-level springs as standard. Inside the gearbox you will find, among other things:
