The replica is the result of a collaboration between Specna Arms and Double Bell. The Specna Arms SA-E38 EDGE™ is an electric SR-25 style airsoft replica designed specifically for long-range roles and DMR use. The weapon uses SR-25 style magazines and is equipped with a fixed stock, which provides excellent stability and a realistic appearance. The M-LOK compatible rail system on the front allows for easy attachment of optics, grips and other accessories - a perfect choice for DMR projects.
Inside, you'll find the Kestrel ETU system and a host of durable internals housed in a V2 Long-style gear box. This construction provides a solid foundation for efficient tuning.
The Eshooter Kestrel™ V2 Basic ETU is an advanced electronic trigger unit that is easy to use, durable and versatile. It is programmable with trigger pulls, works with both brushed and brushless motors (High Speed and High Torque configurations), and improves the reliability of the replica and protects internal components in the event of motor damage or battery overload.
Kestrel™ Basic ETU chip features:
- Binary trigger: The replica fires both when the trigger is pressed and released.
- Pre-cocking: Programmable in five stages, including piston position learning function.
- Active Brake: The motor is electronically braked after each shot. This prevents possible over-speeding of the gearbox and ensures a smooth firing cycle.
- Locked Rotor Protection: Protects the replica's internal components in the event of engine damage.
- Battery Drain Protection: Prevents battery from over-discharging. The motor vibrates and the blue LED flashes five times to indicate battery discharge.
- Low / High Voltage Protection: The module detects the number of battery cells and adjusts its operation to voltages of 6-17 V.
