Polarstar gear box shims F2, F1, JACK and Kythera are designed to be used to eliminate excess movement in HPA cylinders. There is no standard for cylinder pins in gear boxes, which is why Polarstar has had to make the pin locations in the pneumatic actuators according to the largest, so that they fit all gear boxes. If the pins are significantly smaller than the locations in the pneumatic actuator, there is a risk of the mechanism moving forward or backward, which in turn causes problems with the length of the nozzle and causes feeding disturbances and impairs air tightness.
Shims are available in various sizes to fit the most common gearbox pin sizes and are compatible with all PolarStar pneumatic actuators (F2, F1, JACK, Kythera).
