Maple Leaf's Super Macaron hop-up rubbers are an updated and improved generation of the previous Macaron rubber. The concept, which has proven to be very effective, has been updated to be even more compact and performant. In addition, the hardness of the hop-up rubbers can be easily distinguished based on the color of the hop-up rubber. The Super Macaron has special grooves on the outside, which aim to positively improve the tightness of the hop-up chamber.
The Maple Leaf Macaron hop-up rubber bump is different from the traditional dot-shaped bump. The Macaron bump is a modern, flat, plate-like bump that is several millimeters long. In order for a flat hop-up rubber bump to work as designed, it also requires a flat hop-up rubber bump. We recommend the Maple Leaf flat curved bump as a companion to the Macaron hop-up rubber.
Hop-up rubber hardness rating
The degree numbers of hop-up rubbers indicate the softness of the rubber. The lower the degree number, the softer the rubber. Hop-up rubbers of different hardness work differently in different power ranges. In other words, the degree numbers can be used as a guide when choosing a suitable rubber for the airsoft gun being used, when the power of the gun is known. The rule of thumb is that the more powerful the gun, the harder the hop-up rubber should be. The table below presents the Taiwanese manufacturer's own estimates of the suitability of the rubbers in different power ranges.
