The Lonex reinforced version 2 M4/M16 gearbox with 8mm ball bearings is made of a very durable and thoroughly tested alloy. The front end of the gearbox has been reinforced with additional material to withstand higher power springs. This reduces the possibility of cracking the front end of the shells, which is very common in version 2 gearboxes, especially in winter. Due to the reinforcements in the gearbox, the gearbox is not compatible with nozzle plates from other manufacturers without modifying the front end of the nozzle plate.
Even though the gearbox is reinforced, we still recommend installing a shock-absorbing sorbothane block in the cylinder head.
