Anyone who has had to walk in deep snow, a swamp, or a muddy meadow knows the benefits of long gaiters that attach to your shoes.
Gaiters protect the pant legs, the uppers of the boots and, above all, keep snow and moisture out of the boots. The parts of the gaiters exposed to abrasion are made of highly durable CORDURA material, which combines the properties of Kevlar fibers and nylon. The part of the gaiters that goes behind the calf is made of flexible VersaStretch material, which makes the gaiters adapt to the shape of the foot and increases the comfort of the gaiters.
The gaiter is attached to the shoe with a loop made of Hypalone webbing that runs under the foot and a front hook that attaches to the shoe laces. Hypalone material is highly resistant to wear and tear and is virtually insensitive to weather changes.
