The Helikon-Tex Patriot MK2 is an updated version of the iconic Patriot jacket, more modern and better designed, but still as functional and reliable as its predecessor. The first version achieved immense popularity, and the Patriot MK2 continues this tradition with a lighter construction and improved breathability, while maintaining excellent thermal insulation properties. Behind the new version is the innovative Hybrid Fleece material (340 g/m²), which makes the jacket lighter and more breathable, without sacrificing warmth.
Light and warm fleece
The Hybrid Fleece material has two different layers: the outer surface resembles traditional fleece, while the inner surface has a "grid fleece" structure, which is also used in the Alpha Hoodie and Alpha Tactical jackets. This thinner material consists of small raised squares with thinner areas in between, making the jacket lighter and more breathable, but still warm. Zippered ventilation holes in the armpits help regulate body temperature during active use.
Better design and practical pockets
The Patriot MK2 has seven pockets that can hold all the necessary equipment. Two chest pockets and two new hip pockets offer even more possibilities for organizing equipment and warming your hands. In addition, the jacket has two shoulder pockets and one inner pocket. Based on customer feedback, Helikon has removed the lower back pocket and elbow pocket from the previous model. The Patriot MK2 is designed to fit better and does not restrict movement. For tactical use, the jacket has laser-cut hook & loop adhesive panels on the shoulders, which also have pen pockets.
