The ELAK12 Essential version is a further developed airsoft replica of E&L's previous model rifles. The E&L AK12 Essential is a sturdy steel-framed airsoft replica of the previous model versions. The replica models a modern AK12 assault rifle, which brings an adjustable buttstock to the AK series, which can be folded to the left side of the weapon's body if necessary. The weapon's front handle is made of strong polymer and coated with RIS rails. There are also RIS rails on the top of the box lid for attaching optical sights, and unlike traditional AK models, the iron sight is a diopter sight placed on the back of the lid.
The parts of the mechanism of the Essential versions have been updated based on previous experiences. For example, the piston of the weapon has been changed to a reinforced model. The one-piece cylinder and cylinder head assembly has been changed to a traditional two-piece model, which makes it easier, for example, to tune the weapon and adjust the angle of attack. The latest change to the weapon is a mosfet circuit, which improves trigger delay, ROF and improves the functionality of the mechanism. The mosfet circuit has been stress-tested by the manufacturer up to a 13.5V LiPo battery and an M150 spring, so it is a circuit that is quite sufficient for a basic user.
The weapon's battery compartment is traditionally found under the box lid, which is locked in place with a button on the back of the weapon. The weapon's mechanical components are of high quality, and combined with the weapon's 6.04 mm precision barrel, they make the weapon an effective gaming tool straight out of the box.
Quick spring replacement?
E&L replicas feature a convenient quick spring change. This allows you to change the weapon's firing level simply by removing the fire selector and pistol grip. After removing the above-mentioned parts, the weapon's gearbox can be lifted just enough up from the weapon's body to expose the rear of the gearbox and make it possible to change the spring.
