AK-105 in real life
The AK-105 is a shortened and improved carbine version of the AK-74M rifle. The AK-102, AK-104 and AK-105 are almost identical in design, the only mechanical differences being the caliber and therefore the magazines, the chamber and part of the bolt. The AK-105 uses 5.45x39mm caliber cartridges. The AK-105 has been in parallel service with the AKS-74U carbine in the Russian Armed Forces since 2001.
